Avionics Specialist / Aircraft Maintenance Crew

I am Gerardo A. de Guzman, 39 years old, a Filipino citizen. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Electronics Technology, at the Philippine State College of Aeronautics, Villamor Airbase, Pasay City, Philippines. I passed the Radio Electronics Board Examination conducted by Air Transportation Office, Manila , Philippines with a Radio Electronics Licence no. 1818 and Civil Service Professional Examination conducted by Civil Service Commission, Manila Philippines.

I have also taken an Associate course in Aviation Electronics Technology last March 19, 1988 also at the Philippine State College of Aeronautics, Villamor Airbase, Pasay City , Philippines.

With regards to my work experience, from March 5, 2003 up to March 25, 2007 I worked with Aero Flight Training Center, Inc. General Aviation Area, Old Airport, Sasa , Davao City, Philippines as an Aircraft Technician.

I handled equipment such as Cessna 150, Cessna 172, Cessna 182, Piper Cherokee and Islancer.

On February 11, 2008 - present, I am connected with Mactan Aviation Technology Center Inc., as Avionics Specialist, General Aviation Area, Old Airport, Sasa Davao City , Philippines.

The equipment that I handle are Grumman Agcat, Cessna 150, Cessna 172 and Cessna 206.


I also attended trainings from March 22, 1999 to June 17, 1999 at the Air Navigation System Technical Center, Air Transportation Office, Mia Road, Pasay City, Phillipines.

On June 2 to 7, 2007 - Basic Jet Aircraft Familiarization Course at MIASCOR Aircraft maintenance Corporation, Pasay City, Metro Manila.

I can also handle aircraft such as Airbus 320, Airbus 340, MDII, Boeing 757 and DC10

If given the chance to work abroad in any Aircraft Company. This will be a wonderful opportunity for me, to widen my knowledge and also to apply my skills and expertise in this field.

CAREER OBJECTIVE: A challenging aircraft maintenance, a work that requires excellent technical skills to detail and respect to top quality of service and responds to the mandate of clients as well as being part of the team where work is valued as real contribution.


CAREER SUMMARY : A successful aircraft maintenance crew has broad experience in the maintenance , troubleshooting of aircraft equipment, strong inter personal ethics, skills that focus in the quality of work especially in difficult situation and focuses objective solutions, well organized strategic thinker and able to influence the development of aircraft works and technology updates, comfortable with challenged, strong work ethics and tenacious.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Performs pre and post light inspection
2) Performs routine inspection on radio and lightning system
3) Maintains the altimeter, airspeed indicator, GPS, turn and
back indicator and other instruments on accurate setting to maintain
accurate readin during flights
4) Performs re-fuelling and de-fuelling, marshalling and mooring
5) Performs quick check during aircraft arrival prior to aircraft
departure
6) Performs arrival inspection
