United Airlines International Fleet

United Airlines International Fleet is made of aircraft such as the Boeing 747-400; Boeing 767-300 and the Boeing 777-200 (which also operates on domestic flights throughout America).

Naturally these aircraft are larger than the domestic fleet for obvious reasons - greater distances to fly and more passengers to carry.




You will notice that the Boeing 747-400 is the airplane to travel on. Why? you ask ...

Boeing 747-400

United Airlines' Boeing 747-400 is the way to fly internationally.

If you are not already booked into, try and get yourself upgraded to Business class or even better First class and be pampered throughout your flight time.

This particular aircraft has 12 "Suites" not seats but suites with a 78 inch pitch in First Class comfort with all the trimmings.

In addition there are 52 Flat Bed seats with a seventy inch pitch in Business class which is on the upper and lower decks of the airplane.

Economy Plus class offers 70 seats with a 36 inch pitch while Economy class has 182 seats with a thirty one inch pitch.

All the amenities of audio, video, laptop use, food and infant requirements are available on board (book ahead if needed).

Boeing 767-300

United Airlines' Boeing 767-300 is capable of carrying 193 pages through three classes of service.

The airplane is equipped with 10 seats in First Class with a pitch of sixty four inches.

Business class contains 32 seats with a pitch of fifty five inches.

Economy Plus class has 67 seats with a pitch of thirty five inches and Economy class has 84 seats with a thirty one inch pitch.

The 767-300 service flies to Hawaii, Europe and Latin America.

The last of the United Airlines international fleet is the

Boeing 777-200

This airplane can seat up to 269 passengers with a seating pitch of up to 78 inches.

The seating configuration is made up of:-

First Class - 8 Suites with a pitch of seventy eight inches.

Business Class - 40 flat bed seats with a pitch of fifty five inches.

Economy Plus Class - 107 seats with a pitch of thirty six inches; and

Economy Class - 114 seats with a pitch of thirty one inches.
