My Turn to just say HI

My name's Geoff and I have been married for 23 years, have two daughters and live in Sydney Australia.

Ever since I can remember I have had a passion for all types of aircraft. I guess because I see them every day I really love the large passenger aircraft such as the Boeing 747-400's and the Airbus A380. It still amazes me that such a large mass of steel (approx 400 tonnes) can fly - WOW! Of course I have a basic understanding of aerodynamics and therefore understand the reasoning as to how they fly but still that is something much heavier than air up there and we i.e people are creative enough to accomplish this (and that's a whole new story in itself).
