Here are some of the exciting and wonderful tourist attractions in Germany.
For those visiting Berlin take a tour on a Segway.
What is a segway? Well it sure beats walking. This amazing invention will save your legs from tiring. You just hope on it and away you go. It's amazing how many people say that at first they were a bit nervous of cruising around on a segway, however after just five minutes they were very confident and able to thoroughly enjoy the tour around east and west Berlin.
If you would really rather walk there is a super walking tour of Berlin that is totally free (except for tipping your guide at the end). New Berlin Tours will show the sights of Berlin whilst being told of the history throughout the years. This is an excellent, very informative and humorous tour that is not to be missed.
For those who may still be interested in seeing possibly the last remaining section of the Berlin wall should head to Potsdamer Platz and Eastside Gallery. Most of the wall has been totally demolished as most Germans would rather put this part of their history behind them.
There's much to see and do in Munich.
Take a bike tour through this magnificent city. Neuschweinstein castle is also not to be missed - wow! This is one of Germany's main tourist attractions. It really is an amazing example of Bavarian architecture which is built upon a hill. The castle is continuously maintained by the state of Bavaria.
Nymphenburg Palace is another sight that continuously gets raves by it's visitors. Originally designed by Italian architect Agostino Barelli in 1664. The large baroque facades, ceiling frescoes by Johann Baptist Zimmermann and F. Zimmermann and decorations in the central pavilion are exquisite.
The picturesque park surrounding the palace is 200 hectares or 490 acres in size. There are several pavilions built on the park grounds. Stretching from the palace through the grounds is a large canal which has two lakes on either side.
Tourist attractions in Hamburg Germany.
The children (big and small) will enjoy Miniatur Wunderland. Amazing detail at this miniature world. With pushing button scenarios you can watch as everything seems to come to life right before your eyes. Switzerland would have to be the best attraction, with its enormous mountains, train tunnels, castles and mines. Exhibit includes day and night time scenes with vehicle lights coming on throughout the night.
The Church of St. Micheal is the largest building in all of Hamburg. Take the lift to the top of the steeple and view the entire 360 degree view of Hamburg. Then take the stairs back down and stop at the various landing for different aspects - beautiful.
