The Airbus A319 is a very close relative of the Airbus A320 (in fact they are of the same family).
The main difference between the two aircraft is the A319 is shorter, carrying up to 125 passengers.
The A319 has practically the same fuel capacity as the A320 and as it carries less passengers, it flies a greater distance - 3,700 nms or 6,850 kms. With any of the airlines, fuel economy is of extreme importance.
The A319 uses the same engines as the A320.
