JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary job deals with repair, cleaning of aircraft parts if necessary.
Perform inspection on propellers during ground time for possible damage or dents.
Assist chief mechanic during engine run operation including taking notes the engine performance during run – up, and fire guarding.
Assist the Overhauling lead man from time to time perform overhauling engine.
Check tires and tire pressure during ground time.
Overhauling and Injected Opposed Reciprocating Engine, cleaning cylinders, pistons, etc.
Perform paint stripping, cleaning aircraft such as; cargo compartment, landing gear, cabin and even external parts of aircraft. Remove and treat corrosion, and scratches.
Loading/unloading cargo, towing aircraft for a free flight
Washing the salt water coming from the cargo to avoid corrosion.
